I was very lucky to go the Country living fair, at Design Centre in Islington, London .There were lots of talented artists ,designers and amazing caterers.
A few businesses that attended which stool my heart a bit !!
Simple vintage I loved for there kitschy, cute, bits and bobs .
Here is a bit about the company .
Simply Vintage Designs was born from a love of all things vintage and handmade.
Combining my two passions I have developed a product range that is constantly evolving, created from unusual and vintage china, crystal, glassware and fabrics.
As a devotee of all things vintage I hope the items will bring a little vintage charm into the world.
They hand make all the items and source most of the stock from vintage supplies, reclaimed, up-cycled and organic products. The centrepieces of the collection are the beautiful vintage teacup candles. They are sourced from around the country, lovingly cleaned and restored then filled with organic, pure soy wax. Some candles are left au natural and some have fragrance and colour added to them to tie in with their design.
I really love the contempt for this company, Would be a great wedding present .

A stunning set of floral designs, hang Snow, Lotus or Lily in an entrance hallway, study, nursery, dining room, lounge or bedroom. Alternatively, create a feature space with a group of flowers above a breakfast table, on a landing or elsewhere in the home. Snow and Lily are available in white and in two sizes, while Lotus comes in one size and five colours. White, black and grey are tones which almost always work, rendering a white light, while yellow and red Lotus add a dash of colour to an interior for a warm, summery yellow light or tones of red across a space.
Sara Tiara label
I feel like a themed wedding coming on everyone !!!!
Sara Colacicco, originator of the Sara Tiara label, has been working in design and fashion all her life. Having grown up amongst the hubbub of Nottinghill’s antiques, eccentrics and eclecticicism, Sara has developed an enthusiasm of her own…creating stylish headwear from vintage fabrics…whilst caring for the environment.
Sara began in fashion selling vintage clothes on the famous Portobello Road. Sara and her husband Pier then went on to create their own label, Sara Sanskara, with their signature ethereal, feminine designs and innovative colour block coats.
After several successful years, Sara decided to indulge her three passions – ecological fashion, vintage fabrics and elegant headwear. Sara and Pier responsibly source a wide variety of vintage materials, and together they have set up a buzzy atelier in a charming old warehouse in Poole Quay where talented and artistic local milliners work as a team to create each piece by hand.
The collection features a stunning series of diverse, one-of-a-kind pieces using unusual fabrics and accessories including up-cycled Harris Tweed and cashmere, antique lace and feathers and retro jewellery and beads.
Sara Tiara designs have been created to suit all occasions and all personalities. Unlike most milliners, Sara Tiara headware is not just for weddings and Ascot. Some of the collections are designed to be worn as an everyday accessory, enhancing the creative element in a casual outfit
“it’s amazing…each individually made headpiece has its own personality, which seems to find a match in the personality of a customer. I love watching people find the right hat” says Sara.
Quintessentially English… often quirky, these timeless creations are fast gaining a loyal international following…
