Have fun everyone !!!

We do love our doggies !!!

Cops ale village hill in aid of a rundown dog rescue , Horsham , Sunday 12 October , press thirst girl/ handsome hound , sponsored by pretty things , best condition and beat trick sponsored by Billy’s on the road best veteran , junior handler sponsored pet perfection behaviour and training best rescue and dog the judge would like to take home

With tennis ball to bola raffle , fancy dress and photo booth , home time doggy bags and wonderful slap up vintage style afternoon tea catered by jam and tea for humans and dogs

Instead of buying dog treats why not make them !!! You can’t buy love so why not bake with love . Something fun to do with the children or if you have the great british bake fever why not indulge in some home baking !!

IMG_3509-0.JPG
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 tablespoon salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup water

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Grease a cookie sheet.

In a large bowl, stir together the whole wheat flour, cornmeal and salt. Mix in the oil, egg and water to make a soft dough that is not too sticky.

You may add more flour if needed. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place on the prepared cookie sheet. Flatten slightly.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until nicely browned and firm. Cool completely, then store in an airtight container.

All done!

Why not let your doggies enjoy an afternoon tea also with pate sandwiches , bacon cupcakes and homemade dog treats !!! This was take in Pretty Things, Horsham for the beautiful dog called olive xxx

Prettying up an afternoon tea

For thoses hot summer days ice goes a long way . Pretty up ice cubes or ice shapes with flowers and fruit .

IMG_3453.JPG

IMG_3452.JPG

A biscuit is a lovey addition to a cup of tea or coffee so why not play around with different shapes and flavours for example lavender biscuits with a pot of earl grey and dark chocolate biscuits with freshly brewed coffee .

IMG_3451.JPG

Sandwiches don’t need to be boring , why not try creating jam sandwiches with a heart cut out .

Enjoy everyone I don’t know about you but this post has made myself hungry !!
